DC & HG Granules

Densified Color Granules

DC & HG Granules are the individual colors used in our granite effect blends. Most of these colors are available in our standard and fine particle sizes. They can be added in various proportions to our granite blends to add increased density and color, or to alumina trihydrate or calcium carbonate to achieve uniquely custom granite effects. The granules are chemical and stain resistant, can be sanded and machined quite easily and achieve a Class I fire and smoke rating.

These color swatches are representative of the granules cast in clear resin.  Actual color and granule size will vary.

Mesh sizes:

36 mesh = -36+145 (top size appx. 0.5mm)

18 mesh = -18+145 (top size appx. 1mm)

8 mesh = -8+18 (top size appx. 2.4mm)

6 mesh = -6+18 (top size appx. 3.4mm)

4 mesh = -4+18 (top size appx. 4.7mm)
